How do you photograph weddings?
We love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. We'll send you a guide to help you organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it''s really exciting for us to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invits...! On your wedding day, all we want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Chicago and yes we love to travel! If you want us to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
What happens if we have to cancel or change our wedding date?
We understand that life happens, and we’re here to support you. If you need to change your wedding date, we will do our best to accommodate your new date. If you need to cancel, please review our cancellation policy in your contract. Deposits are typically non-refundable, but we will work with you to reschedule or adjust accordingly.
Do we need to provide a shot list for the photographer or videographer
While we always welcome any specific shots you’d like, we don’t require a shot list. Our team is skilled in capturing all the key moments, as well as the little details and candid moments that truly make your day special. However, if there are any must-have shots or specific people you’d like us to focus on, feel free to share those with us before the big day! Feel free to guide us with your vision with all the inspiration you would like to send!
Do you offer custom packages?
Yes! We understand that every couple’s needs are unique, which is why we offer customizable wedding packages. Whether you’re looking for just a photographer, a videographer, or both, we can tailor a package that fits your vision, timeline, and budget. How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer and videographer?
We recommend booking your photographer and videographer at least 9–12 months before your wedding, especially if you're getting married during peak wedding season (spring or fall). Our team often books up quickly, and reserving your date in advance ensures availability.
Can we create a wedding photo and video timeline together?
Yes! We encourage our couples to work with us to create a wedding day timeline, ensuring we capture every important moment while maintaining a smooth flow of the day. We’ll guide you on the best times for portraits, family photos, and the ceremony, as well as any special moments you’d like to highlight (such as a first look, entrance, or specific trad
Can we extend our photography or videography coverage on the day of the wedding?
Yes, if you decide you need extra coverage on your wedding day, we can accommodate additional hours, depending on availability. Just let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll update your package accordingly.
What is a "First Look," and should we do it?
A First Look is a private moment before the ceremony when the couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day. It’s a special, intimate moment that can help reduce pre-ceremony nerves and allows us to capture beautiful, candid photos and video without the pressure of a large audience. Many couples choose this option as it allows for more relaxed photos and videography. However, it’s totally up to you! If you prefer to save the first look for the aisle, we can still capture beautiful moments during the ceremony.
Can we request specific moments to be captured?
Yes, absolutely! We encourage couples to provide us with a list of important moments, specific people to focus on, or any unique traditions or events you want us to capture. During our consultation, we’ll discuss these details, and we’ll make sure to prioritize them on the day. We also keep an eye out for candid moments that may not be on the list but will be important to you later.
How do we book you for our wedding?
Booking is simple! After you reach out to us and confirm availability, we’ll schedule a consultation to go over the details of your wedding. Once you decide on the perfect package, we’ll send over a contract and deposit invoice to secure your date. Once the booking is complete, we’ll guide you through the planning process, including timeline coordination, shot lists, and any other details you’d like to discuss.
